Does it actually work?
Yes. We've tested it extensively (including jiu jitsu training, gym sessions, running after toddlers - if it works there, it works anywhere).
Natural deodorant neutralises odour-causing bacteria without aluminium. You won't smell. You will sweat (which is healthy and normal).
Give your body 1-2 weeks to adjust if you're switching from conventional deodorant. After that, it just works.

Why Smelly Women?
Started because I (Chara) spent a year using my husband's natural products. Not because I wanted to smell like "wild woods" - because I couldn't find natural products I actually loved for myself.
Everything was either £18+ (absolutely not), didn't work (checking myself by noon), or smelled too earthy or medicinal (no thanks).
So we made Smelly Women: natural products that work, smell good, and cost what they should.
First time switching to natural deodorant?
Your body needs 1-2 weeks to adjust. You might sweat more initially (that's your body detoxing from aluminium). Stick with it. After the adjustment period, it just works.

Common Questions
Does it prevent sweat?
No. It neutralises odour. You'll still sweat (which is healthy). If you need an antiperspirant (which blocks sweat with aluminium), this isn't it.
How is this different from men's natural deodorant?
The ingredients work the same - natural is natural. The difference is scent: Day Trip has lime and sweet orange with sandalwood depth, designed for women who want fresh citrus that's sophisticated, not teenage boy's locker room.
Will it stain my clothes?
No. Our formula doesn't leave marks on clothing.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Generally yes, but do a patch test first. Some people with very sensitive skin react to sodium bicarbonate (the ingredient that makes it work). If that's you, natural deodorant might not be your thing.
How long does one tube last?
2-3 months with daily use. We're not trying to sell you new deodorant every 6 weeks like some brands.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Email us. We'll make it right. Natural deodorants work for 95% of people, but body chemistry varies.
Can I use this if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes. All natural ingredients, safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding. But as always, check with your doctor if you have concerns.
How does the scent compare to the soap?
They're designed to layer - complementary but not identical. The soap has may chang, sweet orange, lavender and poppy seeds (more complex, exfoliating). The deo has lime, sweet orange and sandalwood (lighter, more focused). Together they create a cohesive fresh citrus experience.
Does the scent last all day?
The essential oils fade gradually (natural oils don't persist like synthetic fragrance). But the odour-neutralising effect lasts all day. You may not smell entirely citrus at 5pm, but you also won't smell bad.
Why sandalwood in a women's deodorant?
Sandalwood is for everyone. It adds warmth and depth to the citrus, making it more sophisticated and preventing it from being too sharp. It's grounding and lovely - not masculine, just well-balanced.
