For the night that got a bit later than expected.

The soap is ylang ylang and lavender. The deodorant takes things a step further - neroli is citrus blossom, properly floral and a bit special. Geranium is rosy and slightly green and honestly a lovely surprise if you've not come across it before.

Together they just smell really good. The kind of really good you'll be glad about when it's midnight and you're still out.
You went out for a couple of drinks. You were definitely getting the last train home.

And then someone said one more? And you thought, you know what, why not. You'd got a babysitter. The night was good. You weren't ready yet.

What it does
Hormonal shifts, especially through your 40s and 50s, change the sweat your apocrine glands produce and how strong it smells. That's biology, not a hygiene problem.

Out Out Deodorant neutralises odour without blocking your sweat glands. Magnesium hydroxide and bicarbonate of soda do the work. Arrowroot powder manages moisture. Coconut oil and cocoa butter keep it comfortable.

No aluminium. No synthetics. 100g lasts about two months with daily use.
Switching from conventional deodorant
Your skin needs about a week to adjust if you're coming from conventional antiperspirant. You've been chemically blocking your sweat glands for years. They need a moment.

You might feel a bit sweatier initially. This is your body recalibrating, not the product failing. It passes. Most women find they actually sweat less and smell better once they're through it.
How to use
Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin. One or two swipes is plenty.

I've tried many, many natural deodorants, and Smelly Women are truly the best. I live in the Namib Desert in Namibia; it gets hot. Out Out Natural Deodorant has stood up to the heat of the Namib Desert and passed with flying colours. You use so little; my one tube has now lasted me 5 months and is still going. Yes it works great, no more b o. The only problem I've had is I pushed it up too far on my 1st go and now I can't get it back down , so I've had to dispose of a large chunk unfortunately!

The light fragrance is nice and the texture creamy unlike other deodorants for dry armpits. It seems to
be pretty effective in the heatwave even. But the packaging is getting kind of greasy - maybe the heat? (Not so keen on the Smelly Man” name).

Are your products safety-assessed?
Yes. Every product has a Cosmetic Product Safety Report and is registered on the UK's SCPN database by our makers, who are the legal Responsible Person. That's the legal minimum for any cosmetic sold in the UK, not a badge.
I've never used natural deodorant before, how do I apply it?
Clean, dry skin, ideally just after washing. Push the stick up from the base until a small amount clears the tube, warm it briefly against your skin, then apply sparingly. Less goes further than you'd expect.
How long will a deodorant last?
Ages. Our deodorants contain 100g of product - over twice as much as certain natural deodorant brands that supply refills... In our experience you'll get at least two months use and often longer!
What if it's just not for me?
Get in touch. If something's genuinely gone wrong, perhaps it didn't agree with your skin, or it just didn't do what it should, we'd rather sort it than have you disappear and never order again.
What is natural deodorant?
Most deodorants mask odour with fragrance, and antiperspirants use aluminium salts to block sweat. Natural deodorant does neither. It deals with the bacteria that turn sweat into odour, and uses essential oils for scent. You still sweat, which is normal. You just don't smell.
