The House Special

? Are your products safety-assessed?

Yes. Every product has a Cosmetic Product Safety Report and is registered on the UK's SCPN database by our makers, who are the legal Responsible Person. That's the legal minimum for any cosmetic sold in the UK, not a badge.

? What if it's just not for me?

Get in touch. If something's genuinely gone wrong, perhaps it didn't agree with your skin, or it just didn't do what it should, we'd rather sort it than have you disappear and never order again.

? What's wrong with 'parfum'?

'Parfum' is a single word on an ingredient list that can hide dozens of undisclosed scent chemicals, some of them common allergens. We only use essential oils, listed by name, so you know exactly what's on your skin.

? Can I trust that nothing here's been tested on animals?

Yes. Our products are vegan. Nothing's tested on animals, and nothing's animal derived. You don't need to be vegan but it may reassure you to know our brand is cruelty-free.

? What about the packaging?

Almost everything's cardboard, FSC-approved or recycled. Beard oil and shave serum are the exception — glass with a bamboo cap, since that's what actually keeps the oil stable. No aerosols, no unnecessary plastic.
